HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

The Twentynine Palms High School boys’ basketball team traveled to La Quinta last night to take on the Blackhawks. The ’Cats came out with an exciting overtime victory with a score of 91-86. This brings the Wildcats’ record to 6-1 overall.
 
The Twentynine Palms High School Lady Wildcats soccer team traveled to Loma Linda Academy Monday evening, resulting in a 4-0 win for junior varsity and an 8-0 win for the varsity team. 

The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan basketball team suffered a tough loss last night in San Jacinto, losing 41-35 in a non-league game.
In high school sports, today, the Yucca Valley girls’ soccer team will travel to Salton City to play West Shores High School The game starts at 3 p.m. 
 
The Twentynine Palms High School girls’ soccer team will travel away to play Loma Linda High School, starting at 4 p.m.
 
And the Joshua Springs boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will travel away to Bloomington to play Bloomington Christian. The girls start at 5 p.m., the boys start at 6:30.
