A Twentynine Palms High School senior has been awarded the 2014 Gladys Carol Scholarship. Heather Centner of Twentynine Palms will receive $5,000 over two years while she pursues her degree in biology. The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, work ethic, and a strong sense of civic duty. Heather will be recognized by the Gladys Carol Scholarship Program at the Twentynine Palms High School Awards Night on May 22.
