On the agenda for tonight’s special meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors, the board will be asked to approve an application for a $45.2 million loan from the State Water Resources Control Board. The district will then loan these funds to customers to connect to the sewer project when it’s completed. The board will also award a contract for Package C of the wastewater treatment facility. And finally, the board will authorize the general manager to enter into an agreement with an engineering firm to Phase II and Phase III of the wastewater collection system. Tonight’s meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
