Tonight’s Hi-Desert Water District meeting will consist primarily of accepting bids for different infrastructure projects. The first item on tonight’s agenda will be to accept a bid from B-81 Paving Inc. for asphalt repairs and following that will be an acceptance of a boring and pipe installation bid from Ayala Boring Inc. There will be a decision to back either Babcock Laboratories Inc. or BSK Associates to see who will be responsible for wastewater testing over the next three years. The board will then deliberate over and decide upon a new design for the monument sign outside of the Water District building. Finally, the board will approve and adopt the water and wastewater budgets for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. over Zoom.
