In a special meeting tonight, the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will be asked to approve a contract to hire a law firm to represent it in litigation concerning Ed Muzik, Jennifer Poland, and Lani Brown. And the board will be asked to approve a contract to hire a company that will provide an interim general manager for the water district for 3 months at $25,000 per month. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
