Among the items on the agenda of tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District’s board of directors, the directors will be asked to approve a resolution to use eminent domain to acquire sewer easements on seven properties, along Crestview Drive, Sunnyslope Drive, Old Woman Springs Road, Avalon Avenue, and Papago Trail. Residents will also have an opportunity to comment on the water district’s local hazard mitigation plan. And finally, the board will hear a mid-year budget review. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
