The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. tonight. On the agenda, the board will be asked to give input on a 2019 water rate study, which proposes to increase water rates by three percent a year. The board will also hold a workshop on the budget for fiscal year 2019-20. The meeting will be held in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
