At tonight’s special meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District, the board of directors will be asked to give final approval to the District’s Sewer Assessment Loan Program to provide financial assistance to eligible households to help pay some of the costs associated with the sewer assessment. The other item on the agenda is approval of a $373,000 contract to purchase mainline materials for the Capital Replacement Program. Tonight’s meeting is set for 5 p.m. in District offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
