Prior to tonight’s regular meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the directors will hold a special meeting at 5:15 to approve a contract change order of $49,200 for the repair and maintenance of the Upper Fox Tank. At tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors, the board will be asked to approve an emergency response plan. Board members will also be asked to approve a bid of $58,700 for the inspection and rehabilitation of Well 8 West. Next up, the board will review its current water reserve policy and determine whether it wants to increase its water reserves. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at the corner of Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
