First, the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will meet in a closed session with legal counsel to discuss the district’s significant exposure to litigation. Then the directors will review and discuss the candidates running for president and vice president of the Association of California Water Agencies. After that, the Directors will discuss fees for waste discharge permits and annual inspections for commercial establishments that are deemed significant producers of fats, oils and grease (FOG). Finally, the directors are expected to review a water bill reduction for a customer due to a disputed water overage charge. Tonight’s special meeting begins at 4:00 p.m., and the regular meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
