The board of directors for the Hi-Desert Water District held a routine meeting Tuesday (4/24/19).

At last night’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors the members approved a resolution amending the district’s policy for service connections. All services will be installed as a single connection providing water service to both domestic and fire sprinkler systems. The change from “U” branch connections is supported by the San Bernardino County Fire Standards and the National Fire Protection Association. The members also received an update on the new Warren Valley Basin Boundary. The modification was requested by the staff from the Mojave Water Agency and approved on March 28. The members were updated on the running total of change orders related to the Wastewater Project; the running total at this time is just above $2 million.
