HI-DESERT WATER GETS $8.6 MILLION SEWER GRANT

The Hi-Desert Water District announced Tuesday that it had been awarded a grant for $8.6 million to be used for the construction of the new $150 million sewer project in Yucca Valley. General Manager Ed Muzik said the funds from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation will be applied to the final leg of constructing Phase 1, which will lower the overall costs for property owners.
