At tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors, the directors will formally adopt the monthly sewer operating and maintenance rate, set at $41.50 per month, which will be added to property owners’ tax bills. The board will then determine committee assignments for board members. Next up, the board will accept a bid of $104,609 for the purchase of materials for its capital improvement projects. The meeting will conclude with a wastewater update, and reports and comments from staff and board members. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the district office at Inca Trail and the Highway in Yucca Valley.
