Hi-Desert Water District is offering a rebate to Yucca Valley customers who replace old toilets that use 3.5 gallons per flush or more with a high-efficiency model. Water used for toilet flushing can be reduced by up to 62 percent by installing a high-efficiency toilet that uses 1.3 gallons per flush or less. Hi-Desert Water will offer up to $100 per toilet with a limit of 2 new toilets per household. The first step is to schedule a preliminary review with a HDWD employee.
