HI-DESERT WATER DISTRICT TO REVISIT IN-HOUSE OR OUTSIDE SEWER CONSTRUCTION

The Hi-Desert Water Board meets tonight. A revisit on whether the sewer construction will be “in-house” or out (of) house is on the agenda. Managing Editor Tami Roleff takes a closer look…

Among the items on tonight’s agenda for the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors, the directors will be asked to declare four trucks, two backhoes, and other equipment surplus property, and sell them at a public auction. The directors will also revisit the issue of in-house versus outside construction of the sewer project. Directors will also be asked to approve a Right of Entry permit, which would allow workers to enter private property to install the sewer connection from the residence or business to the main sewer line. Finally, the directors will receive an update on the wastewater project and the State Revolving Fund loan. The meeting will be held in District offices on the Highway at Inca Trail in Yucca Valley.
