After a routine consent agenda, changing dental insurance will be the first action items considered by the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors. Following that, directors will be asked to authorize an extra $338,000 for additional work performed by Atkins North America for the sewer project’s collection system. The board will then be asked to authorize a contract for $54,000 for the completion of the district’s 2015 urban water management plan. A contract for $31,000 for surveys and marking services for the district’s upcoming capital replacement is next, followed by an update on the wastewater project, and reports and comments from directors and staff. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and the highway in Yucca Valley.
