The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors meets in regular session at 6:00 tonight at district offices on the highway in Yucca Valley. On tonight’s agenda, staff is recommending the Board authorize the General Manager issue a $35,000 purchase to Albert A. Webb Associates for updating the engineer’s report. Also up for discussion is an interfund borrowing policy for the District. Also tonight, the Board will consider amending current insurance requirements to be consistent with those of the Association of California Water Agencies, Joint Powers Insurance Authority recommendations for construction contracts. And finally, the Board will likely approve the nomination of Kathleen Tiegs for the position of Vice-President for Association of California Water Agencies. The public is invited to attend and comment on those topics and others at tonight’s meeting.
