At tonight’s meeting of the board of directors of the Hi-Desert Water District, the district will be presented with two awards from the California Special Districts Association. Next, the board will hear an update from the Mojave Water Agency and a report about the Desert Wise Landscape Tour. The board will then be asked to approve an $187,000 agreement with a company to survey 200,000 linear feet of future pipeline and design two capital improvement project areas. Finally, the board will hear updates about the sewer project, and hear reports from management and staff. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
