The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors meets in regular session at 6 p.m. tonight at district offices on the highway in Yucca Valley. Tonight, the Board will consider giving a green light to enter a contract with Atkins North America for just over $406,000 for design of improvements within the first phase boundary of the Wastewater Reclamation Project’s collection system. Among other actions tonight, staff will give a presentation on the acquisition of landscape irrigation meters, and review the district’s investment guidelines, which have not been changed since they were first adopted in 2002.
