HI-DESERT WATER DISTRICT LOOKS AT CHANGING ITS EASTERN BORDER

At tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the board will be asked to modify the boundaries of the Warren Valley Basin district, to bring the eastern boundary into alignment with the written description of the Warren Valley Basin. The board will be asked to approve its budget; and then approve an application for hazard mitigation grant funding. The board will be asked to accept a bid for $195,000 for the rehabilitation of Well 11W. Some 11 easements that were acquired for the sewer project will be vacated, and finally, the board will be asked to approve the purchase of a Chevy Suburban for $45,000. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
