An ambitious agenda is planned for tonight’s (June 30, 2021) special 4 p.m. meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District’s board of directors in Yucca Valley. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with an overview…
Tonight’s meeting starts with two public hearings, one on the 2020 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and the second public hearing concerns water standby charges for fiscal 2021-2022. Next, directors are expected to review, approve, and adopt the fiscal 2021-22 water and wastewater budgets. The public is invited to participate remotely through the Zoom platform.
