After, a brief acceptance speech from outgoing Board member Dan Munsey the Board of Directors for the Hi-Desert Water District returned to regular business. First, the directors approved a proposal to update the district’s emergency response plan, and to conduct the required vulnerability assessment. The update was necessary so the district is in compliance with the American Water Infrastructure Act of 2018.
The board members also approved a bid from Matich for $45,386 for the final paving on a Onaga Trail alongside the high school. Finally, the directors authorized the general manager to accept a bId from RDO Equipment Co of Riverside in the amount of $134,856 for a Vacuum Excavator.
