At last night’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District Board Directors received a presentation on master planning and infrastructure improvements in anticipation of the District’s upcoming Water Master Plan. Also last night, directors accepted staff recommendations and approved two low bids for pipe and pipeline materials totaling around a half million dollars from HD Supply Waterworks. The board also approved the $75,000 purchase for equipment that will disinfect water at the District’s newest groundwater well. Those items and others preceded directors and manager’s reports.
