Hi-Desert Water District board member Sarann Graham has resigned from the board of directors, effective Wednesday, July 22. Graham became a focus of controversy following a post she made on Facebook in which she said Black Lives Matter should move to Mars where they can establish the world/country they desire. In another post, she commented that English should be the only language in the United States. Graham had served on the Hi-Desert Water District Board since June 2007. The election on November 3 will fill her position.
