The Hi-Desert Water District will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Among the items on the agenda, the board will be asked to authorize a purchase of an equipment trailer for more than $50,000; authorize the dissolution of the Joint Powers Authority of the Joshua Basin-Hi-Desert Financing Authority. A change in the size of pipes for the wastewater collection system–at a cost of nearly $162,000–will be up for approval. The board will also be asked to approve a contract of nearly $188,000 for an engineering report. Following the meeting, the board will go into closed session to negotiate over two properties.
The Warren Basin Watermaster board will also meet, and will be asked to accept the annual reports for 2014/15, and 2015/16.
The meetings will be held in water district’s office at the corner of Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
