The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will meet at 6 p.m. tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the Board will receive an update on public outreach for the sewer project and revise the District’s purchasing policy, as well as hear a presentation on water reserves and storage options. The directors will also hear a presentation on the California EPA’s development of limits for the carcinogen chromium-6 in drinking water. And finally, the Board will be asked to approve repaving the Town’s roads affected by the installation of sewer pipes, instead of repairing them.
