The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the Board will hear a presentation on the Bay Delta Conservation Project; establish rates and policies for water stand-by assessments; update the employee handbook; and discuss the district’s financial reserve policy. Also on the agenda, the Board will be asked to authorize the general manager to obtain title reports on 291 properties within Phase 1 of the proposed sewer project. In addition, the Board will consider updating its Water System Master Plan. The board meeting starts at 6 p.m. in District offices at Inca and the Highway in Yucca Valley.
