At tonight’s meeting of the Board of Directors for the Hi-Desert Water District, the members will be asked to approve a contract with HDR Engineering, Inc., to assist District staff in obtaining a design consultant for the Phase 2 portion of the sewer system. Staff will recommend the Board adopt a resolution to clarify the wastewater treatment plant and collection system employees’ normal work hours. They will also recommend a procedural change from U-branch service connection, to a single service connection for residential services that require sprinkler systems.
