Among the items on tonight’s agenda of the Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors, the board will be asked to approve contracts for communication and outreach services and with a company to transplant native plants at the wastewater treatment facility. In other business, the board will be asked to adopt a hazard mitigation plan and authorize the purchase of 1700 feet of 18-inch water lines. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
