Among the items on tonight’s meeting of the High Desert Water District, directors will hear another update on the water district’s local hazard mitigation plan. Directors will also be asked to authorize two contracts for capital replacement projects, totaling about $196,000, review the district’s strategic plan, and authorize a $7.8 million contract for construction management services for the sewer project. The board will then go into closed session to discuss potential litigation. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62.
