The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting Wednesday, August 7, starting at 5 p.m. Among the items on the agenda, directors will be asked to consider a nominee for the board of directors for the Special District Risk Management Authority election; authorize the general manager to sign purchase orders for purchases over $25,000; defer the U.S. Geological Survey of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the wasterwater reclamation project; and receive an update on the proposed sewer project.
