A main focus of tonight’s upcoming meeting will be to appoint a new board member to fill the vacancy left by Director Dan Munsey. Munsey, the county’s new fire chief, resigned from the board at the end of February. The applicants for the position are Jeffrey Brady, Jim Byerrum, Barry Healan, Emmanuel Lorenzana, Scot McKone, and Sabrina Peukert. The board will also be asked to approve the Family Medical Leave Act Expansion and Emergency Paid Sick Leave Policy in response to COVID-19. Tonight’s meeting will be held remotely at 5 p.m.

In an effort to protect public health and prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, the public may view this board meeting online as there will be no public location for attending in person.

The meeting will be streamed at https://zoom.us/j/707774110
