Looking for a good job in a stable industry? The Hi-Desert Water District will hold a career day workshop for those interested in jobs working in the water industry. Water district employees and representatives from various water organizations will discuss careers in the water industry, how applicants and students can best prepare themselves for jobs, education, certifications, and tips on job hunting, resumes and interviewing. The workshop is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, October 21, in the board room of the Hi-Desert Water District office, at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley. Seating is limited.
