HI-DESERT WATER BOARD REVIEWS WATER RESERVES TONIGHT

Among the items on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the directors will review the water district’s current water reserves and determine if it’s necessary to increase the amount of water stored within the Warren Valley Basin. Next, the board will review its current policy on cash reserves to purchase water. The board will also receive an update on the water main replacement program. And finally, directors will be asked to set a sewer connection fee of $41.50 per month for the future sewer project. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and the highway in Yucca Valley.
