The California Fair Political Practices Commission has levied a fine against a board director of the Hi-Desert Water District. The Committee to Elect Dan Munsey failed to file in a timely manner two pre-election campaign statements and one semi-annual campaign statement for the reporting period of July 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. The committee also failed to pay the $50 annual fees to the Secretary of State for 2013 and 2014. Dan Munsey and his committee have been fined $1,012.
