Among the items on the agenda for tonight’s regular meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the board will hear a presentation on the Desert-Wise Landscape Tour; hear a planning study report on Phases II and III of the sewer project; vacate a portion of public service easements that were previously acquired for Phase I of the sewer project; hear a report on a new state bill, “The Water Shutoff Protection Act”; authorize the purchase of a skiploader; and award a $2.3 million contract for the B1 pump station project. Tonight’s regular session meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
