At tonight’s meeting of the Board of Directors for the Hi-Desert Water District, the board members will be asked to authorize the interim general manager to accept a revised bid from Downtown Ford Sales to purchase a truck for the Wastewater Treatment Facility. Then board members will discuss amending the memorandum of understanding between the Hi-Desert Water District and the Special District Risk Management Authority to ensure the district’s medical benefits plans are aligned with IRS guidelines, and the affordable care act. Finally, the board members will conduct a closed session with legal counsel over anticipated litigation. The members are expected to present a report following the close session. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
