At tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the directors will be asked to approve a resolution in favor of Proposition 3, a California water bond that will allow the state to sell nearly $9 billion in general obligation bonds to pay for water-related infrastructure and environmental projects. Other items on the agenda include approval of a debt management policy and a change order for the pipeline bid for package C of the sewer project. Tonight’s meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
