The Hi-Desert Water District Board meets in regular session tonight. Managing editor Tami Roleff says new piping and effluent recharge is on the agenda…
Tonight’s meeting of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors looks to be fairly routine. The board will be asked to approve a purchase of nearly $56,000 for new water pipes for the Paradise Valley neighborhood of Yucca Valley. The board will then hear a presentation on using treated effluent from the future sewer plant to recharge the Warren sub-basin. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
