The Hi-Desert Water District Board of Directors meets in regular session at 6:00 tonight at district offices on the highway in Yucca Valley. On tonight’s agenda, the board will consider authorizing the issuance and sale of water revenue refunding bonds to refinance some outstanding debt; the board will also consider an indemnity agreement with Mojave Water Agency for receiving the first round of Prop 84 grant funding from the Department of Water Resources. Also tonight, the staff will receive information about the training and hiring of veterans for careers in the water sector. Those items and others will precede directors and manager’s reports.
