Among the items on tonight’s agenda for the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors, the directors will be asked to accept the district’s audited financial report. Next up are approvals of two contracts for the town’s sewer project: a $282,000 contract for survey services, and a $100,000 contract for environmental support services. Then, the board will hold a workshop on a low-income program to help needy residents pay for the sewer project. And finally, board members will elect new officers for the board. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley.
