The board of directors for the Hi-Desert Water District will hold a regular and closed-session meeting tonight. The board will be asked to authorize a contract for help in selecting a project manager for the wastewater project, and will receive a report on the district’s financial performance. The board will also receive updates on water, the wastewater project, and the state revolving fund loan. Following the meeting, the board will go into closed session to negotiate price and terms of payment with 31 property owners and with the San Bernardino County Flood Control District over easements for the sewer project. The board will meet at 6 p.m. in district offices at Inca Trail and the highway in Yucca Valley.
