At last night’s Hi-Desert Water District Board meeting, the Board of Directors discussed the design of a new monument sign to represent the district. They were tasked with choosing between two designs, both of which were designed by Stanco Signage Inc. The largest difference between the two designs was the placement of the electronic display and Hi-Desert Water District logo, with one sign featuring the display on top and the logo on the bottom, and the other sign displaying the inverse. Director Bob Stadum was in favor of the design with the logo above the display. Ultimately, the Board agreed with Director Stadum and unanimously voted to approve the design with the logo on top and electronic on bottom. The sign is expected to be constructed in front of the Hi-Desert Water District building at a date to be determined.
