The Hi-Desert Pony League is now taking registrations for its 2015 baseball season. Registration will be held at Luckie Park in Twentynine Palms on January 10 and January 24, and at the Twentynine Palms Stater Brothers on January 11, 18, 25, and 31. All sign-ups will be held from 10 to 2 p.m. Registration is $35; credit cards are accepted for an additional $5 charge. The Pony League is open to all players ages 4 to 19; parents should bring a certified copy of a birth certificate and proof of address for each player. Evaluations will be held at Luckie Park on February 1, 8, and 22 from 11 to 2. Practice begins March 2 with closing ceremonies May 30. For more information, call Jennifer Crowley at 760-333-1871.
