Hi-Desert Nature Museum’s “Desert Explorers” workshop opens for kids ages 2 to 5

Hi-Desert Nature Museum is pleased to announce another round of its workshop series, Desert Explorers, designed for children aged 2-5 years old and their caregivers.

The six-week workshop series will be held every Wednesday from April 9 to May 14 from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. at the Museum. Led by credentialed educator Michelle McCaul, each workshop will focus on a different bird or pollinator of the Mojave Desert through interactive stories, songs, and hands-on crafts. The six-week series is being offered free of charge thanks to a generous museum sponsor. Weekly registration is required, and space is limited.

Registration for the April 9 hummingbird workshop opens on April 1 at 10:00 a.m. and registration for subsequent workshops will open the Thursday prior.

Registration can be done online at www.hidesertnaturemuseum.org or in person at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum.
