The Hi-Desert Nature Museum will present “Audubon’s Quadrupeds: His Last Project,” an exhibit that focuses on the planet’s amazing four-footed creatures. Audubon—who created the first American-produced, illustrated compilation of indigenous fauna—began his study of four-footed creatures after the success of his “Birds of America” project. Working with the artistic talent of his sons and with co-author John Bachman, Audubon ventured into the project with his characteristic vigor and talent. This exhibit will be on display until March 31.
