As part of the Morongo Basin Historical Society’s Second Wednesday Lecture Series, the June lecture is titled “Pioneering Women of the Morongo Basin.” This presentation will be given by author and historian Pat Rimmington. The presentation will be held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley at 57116 on the highway. Lecture begins at 5:30 p.m. for a donation of $5. This will be the last presentation of the season. The 2016-2017 season begins September 7.
