Are you a birdwatcher? Maybe you just have a healthy interest in our ecosystem? If so, you should attend the Hi-Desert Nature Museum lecture series on the once migratory raven. Learn how this smart, intriguing bird has taken residence in our ecosystem. Find out how their overwhelming population has created a problem and how you may help. The title of this lecture is “The Next Steps: Tortoise Protection From Raven Impact” and will be presented by Allison Fedrick (tortoise outreach and animal care keeper) at the Living Desert. Admission is $5; free for museum members and sponsors. The lecture begins at noon, Tuesday, May 16.
