The Hi-Desert Nature Museum invites you to participate in the Morongo Basin Art Quilt Challenge in conjunction with the online exhibition “Stitching California.” Reporter Joshua King has more details…
Get inspired by the people, history, and nature of the Morongo Basin to produce your own art quilt design. All submitted quilt designs will be judged by a panel of professional quilters, including members from the Studio Art Quilt Associates. The winning quilt design will be stitched by members of the Cactus Sew-ables Quilt Guild and displayed with the name of the designer and quilter at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum. It will become part of the permanent collection of Morongo Basin Art and History at the museum. For instructions to participate, visit the museum’s website, http://hidesertnaturemuseum.org/.
