Former aerospace man George Van Tassel claimed that on the night of August 24, 1953, he was visited just outside of Giant Rock by a space person who took him into his ship and gave him plans on how to build a life extension machine. Van Tassel devoted the rest of his life to completing the mystical machine known as the Integratron. On the 68th anniversary of the alleged encounter, architectural historian Daniel Paul will host a zoom lecture providing an overview of George Van Tassel, the significance of Giant Rock for him, and the Integratron as manifestation of what Van Tassel learned there.
